Arcadis Global Statement about COVID-19

At Arcadis, the safety and well-being of our employees, clients and business partners is our most important priority. The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting people and businesses globally. Therefore, we would like to share with you the Arcadis response aimed at limiting the exposure to and spread of this virus while we continue to meet the needs of our clients.

We are monitoring this situation daily and following the guidance of the World Health Organization, as well as the local government health departments in all the countries we operate in. Globally, Arcadis has curtailed international travel with regional discretion for travel to maintain commitments to clients and business continuity.

Arcadis already has a flexible working policy in place and our staff have a lot of experience with remote working through our cloud-based systems. In case we are mandated to close offices in specific virus-affected countries or regions, our ability to work from home, allows our business to remain operational.

We have set up a global COVID-19 task force focusing on safeguarding our people during this crisis, ensuring business continuity, and protecting our clients’ businesses. Additionally, the task force works closely with regional CEOs, leaders, and groups that have been formed to handle this crisis on local levels. Arcadis has a Business Continuity Management approach to be able to continue operations and serve our clients under all circumstances.

Arcadis is committed to continue to assist our clients successfully during this unsettling time. Our global and regional account leaders and project managers will work closely with clients to better understand their business priorities and continuity plans, while we determine the best way of working together moving forward.
