Congratulations to Arcadis in the Middle East for winning three awards at the prestigious MEP Middle East Awards 2017 held on 8 November 2017 at the Rixos Premium Dubai.

Arcadis emerged as MEP Consultancy of the Year, having ‘adapted to the changed business environment, expanding its services portfolio in line with the latest trends such as energy efficiency’.

Principal Mechanical Engineer Ian Eldridge who is based in Dubai, plays an integral role in two of the biggest MEP projects currently being delivered by our Middle East business, won Mechanical Engineer of the Year.

Arcadis was also shortlisted in the MEP Executive of the Year and Electrical Engineer of the Year categories.

Dr. Kamiran Ibrahim, CEO at Arcadis in the Middle East, said: “These recent wins are a testament to the depth of expertise and experience of our people, coupled with our uncompromising goal of using innovative and industry-leading technologies and processes to help our clients find exceptional solutions to the challenges they face. The MEP sector plays a key role in pursuing the ‘green building’ agenda in the UAE and elsewhere in the region, so these awards highlight our efforts and initiatives towards that very direction. My warmest congratulations to the regional team – looking forward to the team continuing on in the same spirit on our future projects, to continue delivering excellence for our clients and the community.”

Reid Donovan, MEP Director, said: “Extremely proud of the team for scooping up three awards; fantastic achievement. All the dedication and hard work has been duly recognized by bringing home the accolade of MEP Consultancy of the Year, which is no small feat - being up against the top six companies in the region. Big congratulations to Ian Eldridge and Roger Vincer. Ian has been outstanding in leading the delivery of one of the largest hospital project’s utility buildings and is involved in the design of a number of complex utility assets, while Roger is able to find the most effective Public Health and Fire Protection solutions on a major Dubai retail district project. The wins speak volumes of our commitment to delivering utmost excellence in all our endeavors. Part of our successful delivery in developments across the region is our great emphasis on safety, comfort and sustainability in building design and operations, and our people, our human assets, lead the way in making things happen. Going beyond compliance and the prestige of winning awards, we intend on continuing to adopt forward thinking ways of working as a standard best practice to support our clients with innovative solutions that can help them address their future challenges.”
