Europe - Nissan mandated that their luxury vehicle division, Infiniti, was set apart from their regular brand to achieve true premium status in the market.

In order to do this, they commissioned a major capital expenditure programme to build their dealership network in Africa, Middle East, India and Europe and created the European Infiniti Retail Environment Design Initiative (IREDI) of high quality standards to reflect the luxury brand.

Arcadis was engaged to provide Programme Management, Cost Management and Brand Guardian Services on a seven-year framework. Working across Infiniti’s different markets, we carried out a range of services including site finding, acquisition and advice to successfully deliver over 70 projects across Europe.

Working closely with Infiniti and their dealers, we enabled them to deliver a compliant facility network in accordance with IREDI European standards and created an affordable design model to help dealers maximise their return on investment for refurbishment and new build sites.

In addition, as part of the overall Programme Management we built a Programme Office to coordinate the delivery team, with individual Brand Guardians in each country who delivered a consistent brand identity across all markets. This standard suite of tools and governance with regular assessment, value engineering and re-procurement of the entire supply chain, made savings of over 25% against the baseline.
