Singapore - Arcadis Singapore is delivering project management services for the construction of a Heavy Haul Jetty at Chawan, Jurong Island for Roll-On-Roll-Off (RORO) vessels situated within the Pesek Basin. Besides the jetty construction, other facilities to be constructed include bollard installations along the waterfront. To enhance the service delivery, Arcadis is using UAVs to produce point clouds for documentation and site analysis.
OUR SOLUTION
Monthly visits by UAS pilots are conducted monthly where over 300 aerial photos and videos are captured at each session. The images are then processed to form 3D models and point clouds within a span of 4 hours. The models are hosted onto a secured server where the client can remotely and conveniently access them via an internet browser. The information available on the models are beneficial for verification of works for progress claims, and site safety inspections amongst other project management activities.
