Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix Melbourne

Turning Melbourne’s Albert Park into a world class car racing venue that balances, speed, safety, global media spectacle, public access and entertainment.

Melbourne’s Formula 1 Grand Prix is both the first race on the Formula One World Championship Tour and Australia’s largest single-day sporting event.

Creating the event within Melbourne’s Albert Park relied on turning the public park into a 16-turn, 5.3 kilometer circuit into a world class car racing venue that balances, speed, safety, global media spectacle, public access and entertainment.

To deliver on that promise Arcadis provided expert contract management of interlinked structural, services, technical and environmental tasks and activities.
