Eric de Kruif

Eric de Kruif

Chief Financial Officer

Eric took on the role of Chief Financial Officer for Arcadis Asia in August 2015 and is focused on facilitating the continued growth of our Asia business, and implementing the new Arcadis Way of working with the support of a new integrated operating platform.

Eric has been with Arcadis for more than a decade, most recently in Latin America where he worked as Regional CFO and helped to manage the Arcadis business in Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Malaysia and Mozambique. Before moving to Brazil, Eric was CFO of the Arcadis France business for five years based out of the Paris office and two years as Finance Director for a Dutch Arcadis company (now integrated in Arcadis NL).

Adam Sutton

Adam is a board level management consultant / strategic advisor with extensive multinational experience, (Asia/Europe/USA/Latin America) developed within the financial services and construction industries. A demonstrable track record of delivering superior shareholder returns through the implementation of turnaround strategies, operational improvement, business transformation and strategic change programmes.

Graham Kean

Client Development Director
Arcadis Asia

Graham is the Regional Client Development Director for Arcadis Asia. Based in Hong Kong, he leads the development of our key client relationships and strategic pursuits. He takes personal accountability for several key client relationships and is responsible for coordination of our support to global key clients and sector leaders.

Graham is the former Asia regional CEO of EC Harris (merged with Arcadis in 2011) and was responsible our market sector strategy and overseeing service delivery to Arcadis’ Key Clients within the region. Graham has a background in Project Management and works extensively with Key Global and Regional Clients in the strategy development, planning, design and delivery of their projects across Asia. The breadth and depth of experience that Graham brings from his work in UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia provides insight and connectivity to the wider capabilities of the Arcadis Group.

Loo Ming Chee

Regional Solutions Leader
Arcadis Asia

Loo is the Regional Solutions Leader for our Asia business. Before taking on this role he was the Head of Southeast Asia covering 12 offices across Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei. In this role Loo oversaw the financial performance of each of these markets, defined the growth strategy and managed some of our most important client relationships within the region.

Before taking on his Arcadis Asia role Loo was a Director of Langdon & Seah Malaysia, an affiliate of Arcadis. He has over thirty years professional experience having joined the firm in 1982 in his native Malaysia before spending a decade in the Hong Kong business where he worked on a number of major programs. Loo adopts a hands-on approach when it comes to the development of new solutions for clients. Throughout his career he has worked with clients across most major market sectors and has a particular specialist knowledge within the hotel sector.

Niek Niëns

Regional Operations Director
Arcadis Asia

Niek moved to the Asia Arcadis region in January 2018. He is responsible for leading our operations in Asia, primary for Design & Engineering with the current leadership team of D&E and implementing The Arcadis Way of Project Management across all countries in Asia, working closely with the Country Heads.

Niek started his career as an Electrical Engineer and Project Manager at Arcadis in the Netherlands, working for contractors and public clients in the Infrastructure and Water division. He led several design and engineering departments concerning structural, civil, telecom, mechanical and electrical engineering and was involved in major Dutch infrastructural/water projects. After that he moved to the Buildings Division to became the Director of Engineering & Contracting, and later Business Advisory & Program Management, working with clients from different sectors. Before his move to Arcadis Asia, Niek led a major change management program for the Arcadis Europe. He was responsible for leading three sub-regional Project Management pools, the implementation of the Arcadis Way of Project Management and creating a collaborative culture for Project Managers across all countries.

Niek has more than 15 years of experience in engineering, general management, consultancy and business improvement, project management in infrastructure, buildings, environment and water activities.

Francis Au

Head of Hong Kong & Macau

Francis Au joined Arcadis in 1984 and became a Director in 1999. In 2015, he was promoted to Head of Hong Kong and Macau. He is based in Hong Kong and his responsibilities cover Hong Kong, Macau and Hengqin.

Francis has delivered projects in healthcare, hospitality, sport and leisure, commercial, retail, residential and industrial sectors. He has worked in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan and Vietnam delivering quantity surveying and project management services. Francis heads the fitting out capability in the company and has specialist capability with financial services and hospitality clients. Francis is currently the Vice Chairman of the Association of Consultant QS in Hong Kong and a fellow of RICS, HKIS and HKIFM.

Tim Risbridger

Country Head, Singapore

Tim has worked for Arcadis for 15 years, initially working on the US$8 billion Heathrow Terminal 5 project in London. In 2007 he relocated with his family to Abu Dhabi where he led the Arcadis team on the US$20 billion Al Raha Beach development. Subsequently he became Middle East Head of Transportation sector and was the Project Controls Director on the US$12 billion Sharq Crossing Program in Doha.

In 2014 he was assigned to manage the Arcadis Abi Dhabi and Oman offices. In July 2016 he relocated to Singapore and was appointed Country Head in November 2016. Prior to joining Arcadis Tim worked in Asia (Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore) for more than 11 years.

Justin Teoh

Country Head, Malaysia

Justin commenced his career as a Quantity Surveyor with Langdon & Seah in 1995, and became a Full Partner in 2000. Following Langdon & Seah’s merger with Arcadis, he was appointed as a Regional Director in 2012 and subsequently Country Head, Malaysia in 2015. He has worked on construction and infrastructure projects in Brunei, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Korea, Pakistan and his native country Malaysia, primarily on cost and contract management.

Justin graduated with a degree in construction economics from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1991. He went on to read law at King’s College, University of London and was conferred the degree of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1994. In 2008 he successfully completed the Harvard Business School Senior Management Development Program.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and the Royal Institution of Surveyors, Malaysia (FRISM), as well as Corporate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AAIQS) and Institution of Architects, Engineers & Surveyors, Brunei (MPUJA).

John Batten

John is the Regional Sustainable Cities Leader for Asia, working with clients to address the complex challenges that they are facing to deliver sustainable solutions. With a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and the wider Pearl River Delta, and Shanghai, John provides expertize and support to our teams to drive urban resilience, mobility and livability. John will also continue in his role as the Global Cities Director for Arcadis, leading a team dedicated to delivering outcomes that improve quality of life, safely and sustainably.

John is a globally recognized thought leader in urban sustainability and water and has more than three decades of experience in the field. He now leads a portfolio of 21 global cities for Arcadis. Prior to his current positions, he was the Executive Vice President and the Director of Strategic Client Development for Arcadis North America; and Global Water Director. John has a wealth of experience which includes management of drinking water, wastewater utilities, water for industry, water quality and public health, marketing, communications and customer and public relations. John holds a BS degree in Environmental Sciences from The American University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from New York Medical College.

Penny Murphy

Regional Head of Marketing and Communications

Penny has over 14 years of experience in growth marketing, branding, digital, strategy, planning and content marketing primarily in the B2B and technology industries. In her role, Penny works closely with our leaders across the business to build the Arcadis brand through market positioning, thought leadership and sustainable propositions leading a multi-disciplinary team across Asia to deliver across all aspects of marketing and communications.

Penny has been in Asia for over six years and before joining Arcadis she was responsible for the identifying, developing and implementing marketing entry or market enhancements opportunities for The Economist in Asia. Prior to this she worked across technology accounts such as Cisco, Lenovo and in the UK she held multiple marketing roles within the FMCG industry. She has an academic background in marketing disciplines and is a Chartered Marketer with a solid track record in leading integrated marketing and change communications to success at an international, regional or local market level utilizing her international and Asian heritage.

Carl Watson

General Counsel
Arcadis Asia

Carl joined Arcadis Asia in April 2014. He is responsible for leading our legal, compliance and risk enabling function across Asia and enabling commerciality aligned to our Arcadis Way, working closely with our Country Heads and leaders.

Carl spent his career before Arcadis in legal private practice with international law firms specializing in delivering commercial solutions to a broad range of complex infrastructure and outsourcing projects. He worked across a wide range of sectors (including, transport, healthcare, secure detention and energy from waste) to deliver complex public private partnerships (including guidance on procuring and structuring the same).

He is passionate about the digital horizon and embracing its positive impact on legal services in the future. He always seeks to engage with colleagues, mentees, clients and stakeholders to listen to challenges and opportunities, in context, to drive delivery of solutions, results and assurance.
