Dubai, Middle East, United Arab Emirates - Helping to create Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building and man-made structure in Dubai.
The iconic 828 meter, 160 level Burj Khalifa is officially the world’s tallest building, and home to around 35,000 people in myriad offices, apartments and hotels.
Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill Architects, the dramatic tower is the centrepiece of a vibrant ‘city within a city’, featuring apartments, hotels, commercial space, parklands, boulevards shopping malls, an old town and entertainment complexes.
Arcadis provided independent peer review of the structural system of the tower as well as the role of Architect and Engineer of Record.
