Arcadis is celebrating securing national recognition for two projects as well as the work of its Lenders, Investors and Insurers team at the prestigious RICS Awards 2022
The national awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. Arcadis was shortlisted in a number of categories and secured three awards, highlighting the breadth of Arcadis expertise across a range of sectors as well as ongoing work on transformational projects.
The awards secured by Arcadis included:
- Outstanding Large Surveying Team/Firm – Arcadis Lenders, Investors and Insurers team
- Commercial Development – Hylo
- Residential Project – Perry Barr Regeneration Scheme
The Arcadis Lenders Investors and Insurers team saw an incredible rate of growth in 2021, developing new capabilities and setting new standards of service during what has been a very challenging time. The team has managed to achieve the difficult task of growing employee and client satisfaction rates as the team expands. The recognition as Outstanding Large Surveying Team/Firm is well deserved.
The Hylo project is a cutting-edge £140m mixed-use development in London’s tech-hub of Old Street. Arcadis worked alongside main contractor Mace as cost consultant and the judges acknowledged the innovative solutions used to overcome highly complex challenges such as smart engineering, far-reaching sustainability levels and high levels of social value.
The Perry Barr Regeneration Scheme is a transformational £370m redevelopment of a Birmingham suburb which will provide up to 1,000 new homes and transport connections as well as ambitious social value targets, new jobs, training and apprenticeships. Arcadis has been the lead consultant on the project working with Birmingham City Council and principal contractor Lendlease. The judges commented that the project showcased a successful regeneration scheme delivered by a professional team working in collaboration with many partners to a tight timescale.
