The newest installment of the regular technical column “Advances in Remediation Solutions” is available in Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation, the official publication of the National Ground Water Association. The article looks at the transition to new alternatives from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) containing fire fighting foam and evolving methods that improve the effectiveness of the transition process.
To provide the most detailed perspective on such an environmentally impactful topic, series corresponding author John Horst collaborated with Arcadis teammates Joseph Quinnan, Jeffrey McDonough, Johnsie Lang, Peter Storch, Jeffrey Burdick and Corey Theriault to explore the important lessons learned from their on-going work including residual management options based on current technology.
