In her new role, she will continue to the update and digitize the program, while focusing on improving employee connectivity to health and safety.

“Lauren brings such energy and enthusiasm into her new role as head of our health and safety,” said Heather Polinsky, chief operating officer for Arcadis in North America. “Her emphasis on continuous improvement and digitization will align with our people first culture by making health and safety tools more accessible and more engaging for our employees.”

Hubbard spearheaded the development of a mobile application and analytics dashboard that empower Arcadis employees to engage in health and safety on their terms. For the past few months, she has led the organization’s COVID-19 response, allowing Arcadis to support clients safely on projects related to critical infrastructure.

“Having a robust health and safety program at the forefront of our business has proven to be essential to serving our clients during such an uncertain time. Our digital solutions have been an effective and efficient way to support a remote workforce as we respond to a rapidly changing crisis,” said Hubbard. “I see an exciting opportunity to continue to modernize safety at Arcadis.
