Divine has made major contributions to the groundwater industry in the development of ideas, tools and equipment

Highlands Ranch, Colo. — JAN. 14, 2020 — Craig Divine, PhD, Arcadis vice president in Irvine, California, recently received the Technology Award from the National Ground Water Association (NGWA).

Divine received the award at NGWA’s Groundwater Week in Las Vegas. It is presented to those who have made major contributions to the groundwater industry in the development of ideas, tools and equipment.

Divine co-invented the Horizontal Reactive Media Treatment Well® (HRX Well). HRX Wells can be installed beneath active surface features and can be applied to address a wide range of contaminants, including chlorinated solvents, metals, and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The HRX Well is widely considered to be the new standard in managing contaminated groundwater.
