Sydney, November 7, 2022 – Arcadis Associate Technical Director, Asjelien Thompson, has been selected to join Australia’s up-and-coming and elite industry forerunners as Roads Australia Fellow in 2023.
The Roads Australia (RA) Fellowship Program is an exclusive mentoring initiative that brings together a new generation of trailblazers in the infrastructure industry with the country’s most prominent leaders in the sector. The highly sought 12-month program, which started in 2015, aims to develop leadership skills, build strong networks and promote collaborative engagement in the industry.
Asjelien has been instrumental in the successful delivery of various large and high-profile infrastructure projects including major highways and rail projects. A highly experienced Civil Engineer, Asjelien is skilled in drainage network design, stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulics and water sensitive urban design.
“I am honoured to be part of the Roads Australia Fellowship program. It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to work with a mentor to develop my skills as a leader in the industry, as well as build relationships and new networks, while also making a positive and long-lasting contribution to the broader engineering community,” says Asjelien.
