Arcadis was approached to help develop an international 5-star luxury resort consisting of beach front villas and guestrooms, as well as public areas, restaurants, event hall, kids and teen club and spa. The project site was located on a piece of land spanning over 50 acres, covering parts of the natural jungle as well as the beach. The room sizes range from 93sqm to 890sqm with an overall built-up area of 35,450m2 including Public Areas.

Working within a specific brief, Arcadis provided full management services including project inception, planning, programming, procurement, tender, cost and contract management. The level of oversight that Arcadis had enabled greater change control measures, and clearer management of the project budget.

To date, the project’s progress is still on-time and within budget. Continuous work is being carried out by the project team to manage the clients’ budget.
