When: February 11, 2019 - February 14, 2019
Where: New Orleans, LA
The Tenth International Conference on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments is a forum for sharing research results, practical experiences, and opportunities associated with investigating, remediating, and restoring the environmental and economic vitality of waterways. Managing these aquatic systems requires complex actions that affect a diverse group of stakeholders and touch a wide range of environmental, economic, political and social issues. Arcadis is rethinking how organizations can sustainably address both conventional and emerging contaminants through innovation and technological advancements, providing value to their triple bottom line — people, planet and profit — and improve quality of life.
Arcadis is a proud #BattelleSediments19 sponsor. Stop by our booth to see remediation differently with augmented reality glasses, and while you’re there familiarize yourself with our Hydrone, and interact with our digital collateral.

View 360-degree photos from Battelle 2019 in virtual reality (VR)
Imagine having a “Google Streetview” style view of your project site. Arcadis is using this technology to create immersive, interactive models of project sites. Train staff before they step foot on site, reduce the number of site visits and improve efficiency. In the platform, 360-degree photos can be linked to geographic locations, floor plans and organized by date.
View VR models of remediation projects
Arcadis has deployed remediation projects to VR headsets as well as augmented reality (AR). With VR and AR, you can walk inside your groundwater plume and interact with the data. VR and AR provide a new way to understand your site data and improve decision making.
