With his focus on helping organisations transform their understanding of risk and resilience, Consultant Olu Eriolu was named Performance Improvement Consultant of the Year. Having worked on a number of projects, including with a major UK water utility company and a national airport, Olu has a broad range of cross-sector experience and, in his spare time, mentors young people into work.
Arcadis also won the Consulting Excellence Award for Professional Development for its Global Shapers initiative; an annual programme that provides 100 young professionals the opportunity to develop their capabilities, share knowledge and create more international connections.
Finally, Arcadis’ project with Southern Water was Highly Commended for Performance Improvement in the Private Sector. Southern Water’s strategic plan targets performance improvement around a number of customer and financial promises. To help achieve this, Arcadis developed an integrated approach that linked business systems, processes and people to ensure that everything and everyone was aligned towards meeting customer needs. The result was a significant improvement in efficiency and financial performance.
The Management Consultancies Association (MCA) is the representative body for management consultancy firms in the UK. Arcadis has been a member for a number of years and in July 2016 subscribed to the Consulting Excellence scheme, which celebrates consulting’s value and commits consultants to the highest standards of ethical behaviour, client service, and professionalism. This commitment was reinforced in December 2016, with the submission of Arcadis’ Consulting Excellence Annual Declaration.
Arcadis is also an active participant of the Young MCA; the MCA network for consultants with 0 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, and contributes on a regular basis to the MCA Think Thank through articles and participation in events.
