Arcadis renews major contract with global bank to deliver capital programmes worldwide

(16 March 2022) Arcadis has signed a new global contract with a banking and financial services organisation to support the delivery of its capital programmes worldwide. Operating a Global Programme Management office, as well as leading in the direct delivery of projects through Managed Delivery Partner relationships, Arcadis will oversee direct delivery of capital works, including the expansion, refurbishment and construction of new built assets across many countries and territories.

Under the terms of the contract, Arcadis will provide stewardship of the capital plan, managing risks and issues, reporting and analytics, and providing digitally driven solutions to the Bank. Core to this approach will be providing bank employees with improved and more innovative workspaces, while enriching the experience of retail customers.

The commission draws on expertise from across Arcadis’s full range of service capabilities, including all aspects of project and programme management, cost management, engineering, design assurance, environmental and sustainability consultancy, supply chain management and business advisory, all underpinned by a digital focus. With more than 360 people working on the project worldwide, Arcadis will be responsible for helping to protect the bank from risk, while driving value across the entire supply chain.

Arcadis has a long standing relationship with the organisation dating back more than 20 years and has been working as its outsourced capital delivery partner for the past six years. The latest contract renews an agreement first signed in 2016.

Martyn Court, Global Account Leader at Arcadis: “The renegotiation of our contract affirms our position as a key strategic partner for the Bank. Over the six years of our outsource agreement, we have continually delivered excellent service to the bank and built strong client relationships. With this new agreement, we look forward to supporting the bank with their global objectives.”
