Mary Ann Hopkins, Chief Growth Officer at Arcadis: “We are pleased with this new rating as it provides our clients with an independent assessment on Arcadis as a sustainable partner. We aspire to embed sustainability in everything we do – in our client solutions, in our business operations, through our people and supply chain, and the work we do in our communities. The EcoVadis gold rating proves we’re on the right path towards delivering a sustainable future”.
|In its assessment, EcoVadis looks at integration of sustainability as well as ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria into business and management systems, and how these are reflected in actions and results. The 2021 assessment increased by five points overall compared with last year. Internal efforts to reduce CO2 emissions from business travel and the supply of office space with renewable energies had a positive impact on the assessment.|
