The Foxground bypass is a new, five-kilometre section of highway between Toolijooa Road and Austral Park Road. This section of new highway bypasses the Foxground bends and includes an interchange at Toolijooa Road and temporary traffic arrangements near Austral Park Road.

The Berry bypass section is expected to open ahead of schedule, before Christmas this year. The Berry bypass will be completed six months early and will include the completion of the 610 metre bridge at Berry, allowing highway motorists to bypass the Berry township completely.

Arcadis and APP are the joint project verifiers on the construction of the Foxground and Berry bypass.
