Connecting a community to its river and protecting local waterways

Los Angeles, USA -

In order to prevent and remove pollutants from Los Angeles' waterways, Arcadis was tasked with transforming a 10-acre site in Lincoln Heights.

Using green infrastructure and low impact development measures, Arcadis transformed the site into a park that diverts, improves and reduces stormwater runoff.

In addition to protecting the Los Angeles River, the park's recreational features connect the community to a cleaner and more useful space.
