6 Star Green V3 Office Graded Building

Featuring an iconic imprint of the Brisbane River on its façade, 180 Brisbane is a masterfully designed and aesthetically dynamic 34-storey office tower in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD.

The constrained nature of the site and the presence of the existing major rail infrastructure, severely limited options for the structure that were financially viable. Tailored design options were integrated into the architectural design to allow the natural flow of through public and commercial spaces without cluttering or overwhelming the structure.

Arcadis was engaged to deliver civil, structural and façade engineering services for the development. The building reflects Arcadis expertise in structural designs through the clever use of concrete filled steel columns to support the building’s large open floor plans and the use of external sunshades to enhance the passive sustainable design features.
