New York City, September 1, 2017 – Engineering firms have played a critical role in repairing and rebuilding infrastructure in the wake of Hurricane Sandy’s wrath, where 100-plus mph winds and torrential rains battered the Atlantic region.
In the months and years following Sandy, government officials and engineering firms began assessing and addressing the immediate problems, including severe and widespread flooding, lack of power, and damaged utilities.
