A commitment to diversity

College recruiting. Our college recruiting program focuses on fostering diversity and specifically welcoming and encouraging underrepresented minority and female engineers and scientists in our profession. We seek to locate the very best talent at top universities across North America, and add individuals of varying backgrounds, cultures, and values, creating an Arcadis community that reflects the communities in which we, and our clients, work and live.

Women’s Network. Creating a collaborative, open environment to share information, resources, ideas and experiences for improving work-life balance is important to women in the workplace.  Our Women's Network is a volunteer-based group that welcomes both women and men and regularly meets to advise leaders on policy and community needs.  Working in collaboration, members further our environment of learning and continuous improvement to keep Arcadis a best in class place to work for all.

Partnerships. Our partnerships with programs such as the National Action Council for Minority Engineers (NACME), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers promote minority and women's advancement. Arcadis is a Board Member of NACME. Furthering our commitment, key leadership of Arcadis serve as the Chair of NACME’s Board of Directors Governance Committee and sit on the board of other diverse organizations. We partner with the Veterans Job Exchange and Disability Job Exchange to reach applicants as well as distribute our job openings to more than 2,500 community based outreach programs that are actively helping candidates from diversity, minority, veterans and women’s groups. Arcadis has partnered with Catalyst to forward the mission of developing a more inclusive and diverse workplace.
