Providing Queensland with more reliable traffic flow and greater safety along the Ipswich Motorway.

Delivering a $A1.95 billion, 8 kilometer upgrade of the Ipswich Motorway in Queensland meant rebuilding the motorway as two three lane carriageways and included 24 new road bridges, and 24 kilometres of walking and bicycle pathways.

To guarantee the highest standards, Arcadis provided Independent Verifier services for each of the conceptual design, detailed design and construction phases. Even with major floods that caused $A30 million worth of damage, the project was still delivered six months ahead of schedule and $A400 million under budget.

This milestone project provides Queensland motorists with more reliable traffic flow and greater safety along the Ipswich Motorway.
