Environmental Engineer - Consultant Level - Noida

We are currently seeking a detail oriented, well organized, dependable Environmental Engineer to join our India team. This mid-level full time position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent communications skills. Responsibilities will include a combination of field and office related tasks and may include extensive travel within India for extended periods.

Job Description:

  • Site walkover and reconnaissance survey while conducting HSE compliance audits
  • Conducting Phase I & II ESA
  • Oversight of drilling operations (soil logging and installing monitoring wells and/or soil borings)
  • Soil, groundwater, and/or soil vapor sampling in compliance with Arcadis SOPs
  • Preparation of contract/design drawings, project specifications and bid documents for remediation systems
  • Coordinate and conduct oversight activities for projects, including construction oversight and operation of treatment systems
  • Implementation, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of field pilot tests and remedial systems for various remediation technologies
  • Subcontractor oversight
  • Data management (lab data entry, verification and evaluation of data)
  • Assisting with writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals
  • Coordinating work schedules with subcontractors
  • Conducting project related research (historical data, regulations, etc.)
  • Preparing periodic status/program reports
  • Figure/map/boring log production

Job Requirements:

  • MSc or Bachelor's Degree in Environment/Civil/Mechanical (e.g. Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil) with a minimum of 3 to 5 years related working experience
  • An understanding of health & safety awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong technical writing ability and reporting skills
  • Ability to complete tasks on time and budget
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • A genuine enthusiasm for the role with willingness to learn and develop
  • Ability to work in collaborative manner as part of a team
  • Ability to make decisions and display initiative
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Candidates must also be able to meet the physical demands associated with performing field work, including occasional heavy lifting of equipment, working in a standing position for extended periods of time
