Drinking water treatment plant Khabarovsk

Khabarovsk, Russia - On 29 November 2011, the first section of a completely new water supply system was inaugurated in the Russian regional capital of Khabarovsk, which is located near the Chinese border. With a scheduled completion date in 2018, the biggest waterworks in the world with subterranean water treatment are to be built here. This project is one of the largest infrastructural projects in Russia. The planning and engineering company Arcadis is heavily involved in the development and construction of the plant.
