Arcadis showcased latest technology and new drone offerings at the Singapore International Water Week

(July 13, 2018) – Arcadis, the leading global Design & Consultancy for natural and built assets, gathered guests and clients from around the world at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), to exchange insights on the latest water solutions technology and driving innovation in utilities

  • Arcadis water experts shared insights from their winning papers
  • The flagship exhibition booth attracted visitors during the three-day event
  • Singapore’s newly launched drone service was well received with interest from clients and media alike

The event was held 9 - 11 July at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Arcadis’ flagship pavilion featured its iconic water projects from around the world, innovative water solutions, and a virtual reality corner where visitors can “walk” into a BIM model of water projects, attracting hundreds of visitors over the course of three days, with Dr. Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for Singapore’s Environment and Water Resources among them. At the SIWW opening ceremony, Arcadis received the token of appreciation award from Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Singapore Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, recognizing Arcadis’ support as a Founding Sponsor for the initiative for over 10 years to promote sustainable water development.

During the SIWW, Arcadis’ water experts John Batten (Global Cities Director), Giles Booth (Global Leader, Intelligent Water Networks) and Edgar Westerhof (National Technical Manager, Water Resources) were also invited to present on their winning papers, which covered topics on smart networks, water sensitive urban design, and utilizing innovation as a pathway to achieve sustainability.
