Visionary

Prague - Visionary Project by Skanska, on which Arcadis provided technical supervision, represents the best of contemporary construction trends of administrative buildings. The building is situated on the exposed corner of the streets of Argentinská and Plynární and, as a dominant, it is significantly used in long-distance street views especially at the entrance to the city center from the Most Barikádníků. The construction took started from July 2016, when Arcadis CZ entered the project and was finalized in early May 2018.

Runway on the roof

Visionary’s layout is reminiscent of the letter H. Its seven aboveground floors have a total area of 22,805 m2. It also features 214 parking spaces on three basement floors, including an intelligent parking system and six high-speed elevators. We can talk about the first office building in the Czech Republic with a runway on the roof. Thanks to its glass façade, it makes full end effective use of natural daylight. Within the context of nearby buildings this striking landmark has a light and clean feel. A restaurant with a café can also arrange background for lunch and business meetings with clients. Terraces with views of the Botanical Garden, for example, make a great impression.

As the first project in the Czech Republic, the project was designed in the BIM 360 software. Other innovations of this unique project are, for example, LED sources, a virtual QR Code reception, or a special mobile application that combines all the services in the building (electric car rental, self- service laundry, etc.) Not only that is why Visionary aspires as the first building in the Czech Republic to the American Well Certificate, complementing already established international certification LEED and BREAAM, which focuses on building users - their needs, health and well-being. The quality of the work environment inside buildings is currently the key aspect and the developers are increasingly focusing on it.
