ViaPharma Panattoni Park Prague Airport II

Pavlov, Czech Republic - The Panattoni Prague Airport II - ViaPharma hall in Pavlov is an industrial building built to a high standard and in a modern way, paying attention to its environment. The building has achieved the final BREEAM certificate on level Excellent – 82,4 %, which is the highest score of BREEAM 2016 certification achieved in 2019 in the Czech Republic while Arcadis provided complete consulting and certification services BREEAM International 2016 for industrial development. Moreover, the project has been recently awarded as the best warehouse and industrial property at Best of Realty awards.

The hall is located within a developed logistic complex that creates new job opportunities in the area and offers storage space rentals in the warehouses. The building has a simple rectangular architectural design, representing the purpose and the function of the building. It is a typical industrial hall with the necessary administrative, social and technical backgrounds. The building is a single storey large-capacity storage hall with one in-built office and sanitary facilities. The hall has paved areas, parking places, and fencing around the area. New infrastructure has been constructed as part of the project.

 



Achievements:

  • The best score from all industrial buildings in the Czech Republic certified by BREEAM International 2016 - New Construction.
  • Primary energy consumption has been reduced by 63,27 % referred to the baseline.
  • CO2 emission rate of the building has been reduced by 68,9% referred to the baseline.
  • The daily consumption of drinking water has been reduced by amazing 57,31 % referred to the baseline.
  • About 12% of installed materials have ISO 14001, BES or FSC certificate.
  • About 89% of waste was diverted from landfill during construction.

 

Moreover, uniquely for this building, there is a canteen, a pharmacy and an outdoor gym dedicated for building users to make the access to local services easier. Having such facilities reduces the environmental, social and economic impacts resulting from additional journeys of the building users.
