Prague, Czech Republic - The project with a total area of ​​2305 m2 consists of retail units, 2 office units and accommodation part. New purpose of the object comes from its origin combined function. Retail units on the ground level are connected with the 2nd level and the 1st basement. Office units are located on the 3rd upper ground level. The last 3 upper ground levels are constructed as an accommodation facility.

 The project of the refurbishment was gradually executed since 2015 when the Financial Institution department performed complex Technical Due Diligence of the original building as a part of the transaction. Since then Arcadis completely managed the development of the project. Starting with the elaboration of the feasibility study and going through all the next fazes phases to the finalizing of construction and final occupancy permit at the end of 2018.  Within the process of management, Arcadis provided complex service of Project management, Cost management, Technical supervision and Health, and safety management.






Little bit of the history – neo-baroque rental and commercial building with Art Nouveau elements was constructed in 1906. Original purpose of the building was headquarters of Central bank of Czech savings banks with some apartments in upper floors. Some of the biggest Prague printing companies that were part of Czech graphic union had offices in this building too. Building has not been refurbished since its construction and therefore represents unique monument of Prague conservation area protected by UNESCO. Building was declared as a cultural monument after World War II. Some of the biggest Prague printing companies that were part of Czech graphic union had offices in this building too.
