Senior Technical Due Diligence Consultant

What are you gonna do?

The market group advises clients on the development, realisation and management of real estate. We do this based on our knowledge of the primary processes and the specific environment of governments and private parties. Together with our clients, we develop housing and real estate strategies, supervise selection and tendering procedures and formulate basic principles. We also support organisations with extensive housing and property portfolios in determining their strategy, managing their portfolios and implementing policy, advising on the purchase and sale of a single building to complete property portfolios (TDDs), property strategy and investment risk management. Thanks to our broad and long experience with the various parties involved in a construction process, we are able to identify risks and reduce them to acceptable levels.

When carrying out a Technical Due Diligence (TDD) investigation, we need to gain insight in a relatively short period of time (weeks) into the quality of buildings and their installations and whether they comply with the applicable regulations. The results of the investigation must be clearly and concretely reported in which risks, points for attention and follow-up investigation must be made known. A CAPEX and OPEX cost insight must also be drawn up for the reported matters.

Your main tasks will include:

  • actively participate in project team in the delivery of real estate projects and professional assignments, whether in new or existing construction
  • ability to carry out assignments independently, from request to completion, with regard to safety, the assignment, the quality, the execution and the final advice to the client.
  • delivery of the work including the leadership and management of meetings of your project team and stakeholders, site visits included
  • to lead and act as a mentor for juniors on the specific tasks required to carry out the work effectively.
  • the identification of market opportunities
  • maintaining customer contact during and after the work
  • collaboration with the whole Financial Insitutions team

What do we ask for?

  • proven experience in the execution of Technical Due Dilligence (TDD), project monitoring and project management of TDD studies
  • broad knowledge of and affinity with building technology, building physics and installation technology in M&E or Civil Engineering as well as determination of the technical condition of existing real estate
  • a flexible attitude; able to travel and work both nationally and internationally in the short term
  • systematic, accurate and result-oriented approach;
  • team-oriented attitude 
  • good analytical and communication skills;
  • relevant network in the sector
  • results-oriented, with a commercial mentality.
  • excellent command of the Czech and English languages in speaking and writing.
  • Full-time contract
