transformationAs part of an overall revitalization, Arcadis' engineering, traffic and façade design services are underpinning the delivery of a modern precinct comprising a 12,000-capacity convention centre, 656 room hotel, 40,000 m2 exhibition space, ballroom, and entertainment facility.
Set to be Australia’s largest convention and exhibition facility, the precinct will also include Sydney’s largest red-carpet venue.
At the Southern end of the precinct, known as Darling Square, mixed-use development will provide residential, retail, and commercial developments a stone’s throw from the CBD, including student accommodation, child care facilities, markets, and a library, alongside food and beverage outlets. All will be set amongst landscaped public domain areas, creating liveable, green community spaces.
