Australia - Arcadis, the leading global Design & Consultancy firm for natural and built assets, today announced it had appointed Stephen Uhr to lead its Asia-Pacific strategy and client initiatives, as Executive Director Asia Pacific – Clients, Innovation and Strategy.
Uhr was previously Client Director for Australia Pacific and joins Greg Steele, who was recently announced as Group Executive Asia Pacific, to oversee the segment.
The expanded role will ensure consistency across the Asia Pacific segment in the development and implementation of strategy, mergers and acquisitions, as well as client and pursuit excellence.
Greg Steele, Group Executive Asia Pacific, Arcadis: “As we continue to grow into new markets, deliver innovative projects and grow across Asia-Pacific, it’s important that we have a strong strategy, vision and client focus.
“Stephen has undertaken this role for Australia Pacific for the past 3 ½ years with outstanding success, key to this has been a strategic focus on client development and engagement, which he will lead across Asia-Pacific.
“I have every confidence that Stephen will help drive further growth across Asia-Pacific for Arcadis,” Steele said.
Glenn Lutz, CEO Asia, Arcadis: “I am delighted that Stephen has taken on this role as we see great opportunities to refine our approach to the market and deliver even better outcomes for our clients.
“The Asia Leadership Team look forward to working with Stephen on elevating our Client Excellence program and increasing our collaboration as the two regions diversify their service capabilities,” Lutz said.
The Asia-Pacific segment includes Arcadis’ Asian and Australia Pacific businesses, which report into Steele but operate separately.
