Webb Dock West wins Best Sustainable Project

Victoria, Australia - The Melbourne International Ro-Ro Terminal (MIRRAT) at Webb Dock West has won Best Sustainable Project at The Master Builders Association of Victoria’s Excellence in Construction Awards.

The Awards showcase the outstanding craftsmanship and professional standards of Association members, and demonstrate the commitment to building excellence in the commercial/industrial sectors throughout Victoria.

The MBA noted the facility’s 6 Star GreenStar rating and As Built Infrastructure Sustainability rating of ‘Excellent’, alongside water sensitive urban design features, the 100 Kw solar panel energy generation system, and the use of 260,000 tonnes of recycled materials during construction.

Arcadis worked with MIRRAT and construction partner CPB Contractors to deliver Contract Administration and Technical Advisory services, contributing towards the project meeting rigorous standards in environmental performance, efficiency, competitiveness and flexibility.
