Assistant Research and Development Coordinator

To be responsible for inter-department co-ordination and clerical support to the in-house professional practice research & development committee and electronic technical library for the service line of quantity surveying, including follow-up and reporting in a pro-active manner.

Job Description:

To assist the direct manager in:

  • Coordinate with in-house departments for activities of the in-house professional practice research & development committee
  • Provide clerical support in preparing and maintaining professional practice documentation, including translating, editing, proofread and library maintenance
  • Set up and support meetings, including minutes taking, progress and status update of R&D activities and follow up action
  • Assist in daily operation and maintenance of electronic technical library
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and data sets for internal and external distribution


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in Business, Management, any discipline of surveying/ construction or related disciplines
  • At least 2 to 3 years' of relevant working experience
  • Good command of English and Chinese; both written and spoken, proficiency in Putonghua preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Power Point and Chinese word processing
  • Independent, clear analytical mind, considerate, proactive with good interpersonal skills
