Regional Collection Manager - Hong Kong

The Regional Collection Manager will serve as a professional credit control & collection expert to oversee the collection control function across Asia, as well as to supervise the Accounts Receivable team in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set the cash & debtor target for all regional offices within Asia
  • Keep track of the regional reports on debtor payment & cash collection for trends/warning signs
  • Develop, implement and escalate sustainable credit control & collection process for the Asia region including credit policies, collection targets & strategies, payment terms and operation workflow
  • Ensure all credit control & collection process are all in line with Company standards
  • Lead, guide and empower the accounts receivable team targetted to develop/improve the collection function and KPI's 
  • Prepare and present periodic and actionable cash collection updates and debt reports to management
  • Monitor the invoice and payment status to insure proper action to be taken if payment is overdue
  • Manage and develop positive client relationship, proactively contact the client to settle the outstanding AR issues


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience with 2 years in a leadership capacity of AR, Credit & Collection function
  • Professional certification in Credit Control Management is preferred
  • Some regional experience in credit & collection control is preferred
  • Familiar with ORACLE is a PLUS
  • Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills with detailed reconciliation result
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to set priorities for the team, result driven and precise
  • Able to spot and define problems, identify solutions and drive changes through completion
  • Excellent written & spoken in English and Cantonese
