Consultant or Engineer - Water Management - China

This position supports the existing Water Management team in China, working as part of a wider multi disciplinary team.

Main Purpose of the Job:

The role will be to work closely with internal and external clients on all aspects of our water management  projects leading and delivering high quality products on time and on budget.

Experience planning and implementing Water Management projects, and knowledge of key technical services (such as Urban Water Management, Water Discharge, hydraulic modeling, water quality, climate adaptation, waste water treatment, etc.) will be an advantage.

Support development of proposals, reporting, and client interaction with the guidance from Principal- and Director-level staff as required.

  • Lead juniors and trainees to deliver projects
  • Working together with other international water business line


Job Requirements:

These assignments may be at short notice and for extended periods.

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering/Hydraulic Engineering/Water Management or related discipline
  • Proven track record of at least 6 years of relevant work experience in Consultancy/Planning or Design fields
  • Strong client focus, able to work independently and able to demonstrate initiative is preferred
  • A good understanding or knowledge in water ecological rehabilitation, storm water modeling or water quality monitoring and modeling is highly preferred
  • Experience in Sponge City Construction or similar is highly preferred
  • Good knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.), SharePoint, Auto CAD and various databases is preferred
  • Willing to travel
