The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework is the most widely used, standardized corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting framework in the world. 

ARCADIS has followed the GRI G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines for reporting on CSR performance, the output for which is presented in the ARCADIS Annual Report 2011.  In so doing, levels of materiality were taken into consideration in selecting the indicators relevant for the business.  

Following thorough self-assessment and analysis of the information prepared in support of ARCADIS’ disclosures as part of its GRI submission for 2011, the company has declared application of the GRI principles at level C. In maintaining this position, the company has made significant advances during the past three years and has improved its performance by reporting on an increasingly broader array of GRI indicators.
